A copper metal or sometimes copper-Iridium metal which attracts rice grains, like a magnet attracting iron is called as Rice Puller. The definition is quite simple but how can copper metal attracts rice grains?.
On youtube you can see lot of people making this impossible thing possible with their techniques to cheat people.
There are many theories proposed by some people who believe that rice pullers exists. Among those theories this following theory is popular one.
According to them, when thunderbolt / lightning strikes any copper material the copper material gets some powers.
Forget about the theory of this people. What happens when a thunderbolt strikes copper material ? what changes will happen in the metal ? Will it become permanent electrostatically charged body or it becomes radioactive ? The answer is "NO".
If you ask the above questions with anyone who believes in Rice Pulling concept they can't answer your questions. Rice pullers are real and exists but this is not the correct theory. Many people show this rice pulling phenomenon using some science tricks to cheat people.
Many people believe that iridium content in copper metal is key factor of this rice pulling phenomenon and they believe that iridium is very costly metal, which is 100% wrong. Nowadays in India and some asian countries, goldsmiths are mixing iridium and ruthenium powder to cheat their customers.

Search in google " iridium price today", It will show 520 dollars per troy ounce.
one troy ounce = 31.1 gram
that means 520 dollars per 31.1 grams of iridium
then cost of one gram 520/31.1 = 16.72 $ = 1170 indian rupees ( @ 1$ = 70 Indian rupees)
But still the people who believe this rice pulling concept blindly, are buying some useless iridium liquids, powders etc, sold by cheaters @ lakhs per gram and ml.
Original & natural rice puller metals attracts rice because of some chemicals mixed in that metals accidentally or may be sometimes intentionally.
